Laurie resides in Haskinville, New York with her husband Jack. She has been married to this fantastic man for 17 years. Together they are the parents of three children. Their oldest daughter Kayla is married to an Associate Pastor (Shelby) Deatherage who are raising 3 precious children Malaki, Zavan & Zoe in Amarillo, Texas. Their middle son, Patrick was recently married on December 29, 2007 to “daughter-in-love”, Natalie. Youngest son, J.D., goes to Arkport Central School.
Having worn many different hats, Laurie considers being a stay-at-home mom one of her greatest joys. The Lord’s call to women’s ministry was over a 7-year period where she served as a counselor, board member, and then director of a local crisis pregnancy center. She has taught the teen Sunday school class for 7 years and also teaches a large group of first and second graders on at Kid’s Club. She has led Bible study groups and is actively involved with women’s ministry in her local church.
God has placed a special love in her heart for women and children of all ages. Laurie loves to study the Bible, enjoys walks on the country road, music, travel, scrap booking, and spoiling her grandchildren whenever possible.
